BRI NEWSLETTER 2025 BRI was established in 1985, marking this year our 40th anniversary of representing the independent production industry and servicing global broadcast systems, networks, channels, and platforms. BRI will launch AMPD TV as a fast channel this year, designed to showcase the widest variety of outstanding independent productions from around the world. In 2024, BRI licensed titles to all the major VOD platform as well as pay and basic cable channels, including UPtv and GAC with heartfelt family movies. Our partnership with VA Media and their proprietary Youtube Channel Network, has established BRI as a leading supplier of AVOD and SVOD supported content. This past year, BRI licensed the Kingston Trio celebration at The Greek Theater in Los Angeles, as a live Pay-Per-View event, with iconic folk groups such as The Limeliters, Dan Hicks Hot Licks Band, Cynthia Sayer and her band Joyride, and the John Stewart Band to 84 million US cable homes. For the first time in 20 years, BRI entered the production space and produced a heartfelt Christmas movie entitled “Santa’s Second Wife”, a family-friendly romantic comedy, to critical acclaim with a number of the child cast members also winning awards from various organizations. BRI continues to be a major program supplier to substantial venues including the educational and library markets as we continue to seek out new and compelling productions, including movies of all categories, documentaries showcasing celebrities and interesting people and events, including musical performances, sporting events, and travel/lifestyle series. BRI works to support established programming systems as well as new channel launches...BRI is here to protect and serve.
